We were all created with God given gifts, talents and purpose. We were created to glorify God and do His will. We all need to know our purpose or we will not ever find fulfillment or even happiness. Our fulfillment comes only when we are using our God-given talents, for the purpose in which He has called us. As spouses, we should be praying for one another for God to mold each other according to God’s plan, and not our own. When we don’t know our purpose, we become frustrated and it affects our relationships. Marriage doesn’t changes us, only the power of God can. However, we can change our marriage because the power of prayer invites God in to make changes that are life altering. We need to love, support and encourage each other to be all God intended us to be.
May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose. Psalm 20:4
“Father God, help us to clearly hear the call you have on our lives and show us the purpose we were created for. Help us to stay focused and enable us with the power of your Holy Spirit to become all You created us to be. Keep us from getting side tracked by our circumstances and let the desires of our hearts be in line with Your heart for us. We thank for this marriage and we pray that it always exemplifies Your love, and we will be careful to give your name glory honor and praise in Jesus name we pray. Amen.”
Challenge: Step out of Gods lane and instead of pressuring your spouse to be something, begin praying that they fulfill God’s purpose for their life.
